For example, the reason we had to film scene 2 on the first day was that it was the only time we could gather all the cast needed to film the flashback.
I also added in a break for people because I didn't want people to get frustrated and feeling stressed as this would decrease productivity, so i scheduled in a break time each shotting day for people to take a breather, relax and have something to eat. Although it was not stated time wise when the break would be, it is stated that it would be after a certain amount of time into filming, I think doing this was particularly smart because if we said that break was at 12 and we didn't start till 11 then that means there would only be an hour of filming before people wanted there break.
Since I live nearest to the set all the equipment, props and everything else needed would be left at mine for the duration of the filming, doing this meant that everything will be all together and it would be easier to keep track off what we had and what we needed. This also minimises the intensity of the transportation of all the equipment, we are not able to keep the equipment at the set overnight but the level of stress that will come with transporting equipment will be very minuscule.
The only thing we could not shoot in the sequence was the flashback as explained for the reason that not all the cast and crew needed could make it on any other day, but then the rest of the film would be shot in sequence to the script, doing this any other way would be unnecessary and add more stress to the production so I decided to keep it a simple as possible and film in the narrative sequence to the script.
