Idea
The idea for my media campaign is an alcoholic drink that will be superior to taste, quality and value to other drinks on the market.
I want to have the iconic and old fashioned look to my drink as i think i want my drink to be seen as sophisticated and i high class drink, or to at least to have a hint of manor to it to contrast with the themes of bikers.
This is a mood-board of my ideas and where i drawn most of my inspiration from, i wanted the bottle cover to be clean and simple, black and white but yet be distinguishable from anything else that my be in shops at the moment.
I wanted it to have the main product which would be the alcoholic original but then i could make a side product of the non-alcoholic bottles to furthermore compete with the trend of these 0% alcohol drinks that other brands have made.
To go with the theme of rebellion with bikers but still show class i want the slogan of this product to be "Drink Irresponsibly" but to have the first two letters scratched out, this is more as seen as a little joke between the consumer and the product because i want people to have fun when consuming my product and to enjoy themselves, well in fact that is what my drinks purpose is.
Purpose
The purpose of my product and the campaign that will be taking place to advertise it is to promote my new root beer Mr JACKS ( An alcoholic Root Beer) and it will convey a humorous tone to it because i want the consumer to enjoy the product as it is, a fun, new and exciting drink.
I will also have a classic looking and i especially want my print advertisements to look like the old Budweiser and coke a cola adverts.
Platforms
My advertising will take place on multiple media platforms such as Print, Moving image and most important on new technology such as social media accounts.
The idea for my moving image advert will be under 30 seconds as i want to keep the drink simple but mainly i want the cost of advertising to be cheap and the shorter the advert is the less obey i will have to spend on having it in-between shows and before youtube videos online. My adverts will mainly take place on the evening after 4pm s it will mainly be advertised to an older audience and this is prime time for this as most people would've finished work or school and would be home and more prone to seeing these advertisement on TV.
The main reason i want it to have a social media account is so that it can reach people on a personal and more integrated level especially in this day and age many people spend way more time on their phones or on social media so it would be silly of me not to include this in my campaign as i would be missing out on millions of potential buyers for my product.
The plan is for my product to be released in July 2018, as my drink is associated with good times and having fun and these are feelings that are completely linked with summer, so this would be when most people would want to buy my product.
I would only begin my campaign around a month before the initial release date as i don't want to keep potential customers waiting too long as they won't be that loyal to a precut they haven't drank yet when they're plenty other on the market.
I would kick off my campaign by posting photos on base stop and billboards in city centers where my target audience ( young adults and adults) will typical see them and they will subtly become part of their everyday lives and then i will create even furthermore hype by releasing the adverts on Televisions and in cinemas, then i will release the adverts before youtube videos at the same time i will launch my social media account so that people could use the link provided in the online advertisements.
